• insertion order - we must receive your signed faxed insertion order to process your ad. please contact your account representative at tel. 510-713-2150 if you have not done so!

• important facts - your insertion order must indicate
  • start and stop dates of your ad.
  • responsible (signing) party for billing.
  • responsible party for materials, including their telephone and email.

how to submit materials

All materials are handled via email. In a series of emails to eg3.com , you will email us your graphics, text, and keyword selections.

• IMPORTANT: If you have not received the emails from us, or you wish to update your current materials, please send an email to eg3.com to request each form.

Here is what you can change, and submit:

1. GIF Graphics - send each graphic independently to eg3.com . Be sure to identify the EXACT URL you want each graphic to link to, and the ALT TEXT.
2. Text - send your company and product descriptions to eg3.com
3. Keywords - let us know your page and keyword preferences via email to eg3.com .

Here is a quick checklist of all materials that you can submit to eg3.com.

1. Graphic(s) - .gif format only (animated or non-animated, max 50K)- via email to eg3.com For complete information request the email forms from eg3.com .

2. Keywords - how space is allocated on eg3.com
   • eg3.com section selection keywords - these indicate which section of the site - embedded, realtime, applied, etc. - which you want to appear in.
   • eg3.com keywords - keywords like "68K" or "sbc", these control the placement of ad graphics on a particular page. You must use our list.
   • eg3.com search keywords - these are any keywords that you submit which control the interactive search (search engine). You can submit any words you like.

3. Buyers Guides - all advertisers rise to the top of the buyers guide free text search, and are included by keywords on the site. You will select up to five buyers guides. you must submit a "company description." This is optional.

4. Product Cross References - you may submit up to five products that can be cross referenced in three different pages (keywords). This is optional.

Here is the schedule by which we update eg3.com advertiser materials:

• quarterly - all advertisers are encouraged to change their graphics, text, and keywords every quarter approximately two weeks before publication date (12/15, 3/15, 6/15, and 9/15 of every year).
• weekly - advertisers can change their information at any time (but no more than three times a quarter) by submitting it via email or via the materials worksheet. changes received on monday will be visible the next monday. we operate on a monday-to-monday schedule, meaning that we update eg3.com every monday - changes received on a wednesday (for example) will not be visible until the monday ten days away. get it?
• urgency - errors that are our fault will be corrected as soon as possible. please contact your account representative and email info@eg3.com !
